Quick answer
Choose Splatypus if you hate wasting sauce and want a playful jar scraper. Pick Batlicious if you need gothic-chic oven mitts and pot holders for safe, stylish baking.
What each tool does best
Splatypus is a dedicated jar scraper designed to reach every bit of sauce, spread, or condiment from the bottom of jars. Its flexible silicone head and durable plastic handle make it a practical, everyday kitchen helper for reducing food waste.
Batlicious combines oven mitts and pot holders with a whimsical bat-and-moon design. It brings gothic charm to cooking while providing heat protection for handling hot dishes and bakeware.
Key trade-offs to consider
Splatypus focuses on precision scraping and is small enough to store in a drawer. However, it offers no heat protection and is not meant for high-temperature tasks.
Batlicious provides essential safety when handling hot items but takes up more storage space and is limited to oven-mitt duties. It won't help you get the last bit of peanut butter from a jar.
