Quick Answer
Use the OTOTO Footbowl as a playful, practical snack bowl for dips, popcorn, and candy at your next party, and keep it stable by placing it on a flat surface.
Why the Footbowl Works for Parties
The Footbowl's melamine material makes it durable and easy to clean, perfect for casual gatherings where spills and messes happen. Its unique foot-shaped design adds a quirky conversation starter to any snack table.
The bowl's dimensions (9.37 x 7.76 x 2.64 inches) provide a generous capacity for sharing snacks, but its shallow depth means it's best suited for dips, popcorn, or small bites rather than large quantities of bulk snacks.
Considerations Before Serving
Because the Footbowl is made of melamine, avoid using it with very hot foods or in the microwave, as melamine is not heat-safe. Stick to room-temperature or cold snacks like chips, pretzels, or candy.
The foot-shaped base may make the bowl slightly less stable on uneven surfaces, so always place it on a flat, level table to prevent tipping.
How to Use the Footbowl for Party Snacks
- Choose the Right Snacks: Fill the Footbowl with dry snacks like popcorn, pretzels, or chips, or use it for dips like hummus or salsa. Avoid hot foods to protect the melamine. Check that your snack is not too hot before placing it in the bowl.
- Place on a Flat Surface: Set the bowl on a stable, level table to prevent it from tipping over due to its foot-shaped base. Avoid placing the bowl on uneven surfaces like blankets or laps.
- Serve and Refill Strategically: Place the bowl within easy reach of guests and refill it as needed. Since the bowl is shallow, plan to refill more frequently for larger crowds. Have a backup supply of snacks nearby for quick refills.
